Jillian Noel Hennessy
Jillian Noel Hennessy is a Canadian actor and singer from Canada. She is most famous for her role as Claire Kincaid, a US prosecutor in the television show Law & Order for three seasons. Crossing Jordan was six seasons. Jordan Cavanaugh, the main character in Crossing Jordan, lasted six seasons. She also appeared in films like RoboCop 3 (most wanted) and Crossing Jordan (which she wrote and directed). Hennessy was a native of Edmonton, Alberta. John Hennessy, John's father, was a meat and marketing sales and marketing executive. The position required significant traveling and the family had to move frequently. Maxine her secretary mother, left the family in 1982. Eleanor, Eleanor's paternal grandmother, looked after her daughter in Kitchener. John Paul Hennessy Jr. has a younger brother, as well as Jacqueline, a twin sister. Jacqueline is host and journalist for an upcoming Canadian television show. Her ancestry is comprised of Irish, French, Swedish and Italian descent on her father's and mostly Ukrainian Roma on her mother's. She graduated from Grand River Collegiate Institute and Stanley Park Senior Public School. Hennessy and her sister were the first actors to be cast as twin call girls in 1988's Dead Ringers. Gillian Anderson, who was the actress who was ultimately chosen for the role, stated she was selected to be the character Dana Scully in The X-Files. The role lasted three seasons. She left the show in 1996.
