Rosario Isabel Dawson Bio

Rosario Isabel Dawson was born on May 9th, 1979. [3] She is an American producer, actress and director. Her first feature film came out in the independent drama Kids. Her subsequent roles include He Got Game (1998) and Josie and the Pussycats (2002). Dawson has voiced characters for Warner Bros./DC Comics, Disney/Marvel and ViacomCBS Nickelodeon. She has also been nominated for the Critics' Choice Film Award for Best actor in a comedy for Top Five (2014), Trance (2013), Top Five (2014) Zombieland Double Tap (2019). Dawson was born on May 9 1979, in New York City. Her mother, Isabel Celeste, is of Afro-Cuban and Puerto Rican ancestry. Isabel was just 16 at the time that Rosario was born; she didn't marry Rosario's biological father, Patrick C. Harris. When Rosario was a year old, her mother married Greg Dawson, a construction worker. Through this marriage, Dawson has a half-brother, Clay, who is 4 years younger than her. Dawson is also known for several roles in comic-book adaptions. In 2020, she portrayed Ahsoka Tano in the second season of The Mandalorian, and is expected to be a part of the forthcoming Disney+ original series Ahsoka. Also, she has a regular part in the Dwayne Johnson autobiographical comedy series Young Rock in 2021.
