Lea Katherine Thompson

Thompson was born on May 31st of 1961 in Rochester (Minnesota) Rochester, Minnesota. the youngest of five children of Clifford Barry Thompson, a musician. Thompson is the sibling of Coleen Goodrich, Shannon Katona and Barry Katona. Her mother is Irish. Mikhail Baryshnikov (the artistic director at the time) told her that she was a great dancer but was too tall. She described that moment as "my epiphany" when she made the decision to stop dancing and turn into a ballet dancer. It was an amazing moment because I could've been banging my head on the wall for another 10 years. "The actress changed her attention towards acting. At age 20, she relocated to New York with Sarah Michelle Gellar, Elisabeth Shue and some others from Burger King ads. In 1982, CareerThompson starred in Cecily "Sissy" which was a live-action interactive video game dubbed MysteryDisc: Murder! Anyone? Jaws 3-D was her film debut in 1983. I told them I was proficient in water ski. I wasn't. I had to learn water-skiing techniques that were difficult in five days as I had to do the Sea World water skiing show. I don't even know how to you can swim!" The singer followed this up with All the Right Moves (1983), Red Dawn (1984) as well as The Wild Life (1984).
