Aaron Jeffery
The Logie
Award-winning New Zealand actor Aaron C. Jeffery is from Australia. He is most
well-known for his performances in Water Rats as Terry Watson, Alex Ryan and
Matt Fletcher as Matt Fletcher and Alex Ryan, both from McLeod's Daughters.
Jeffery was born in Auckland and relocated to Australia when he was an adult.
Then he trained in acting at NIDA. He earned his NIDA degree in 1993. Following
that, he started his television career by working on the children's series Ship
to Shore. Jeffery is best known for his part in McLeod's Daughters as Alex
Ryan. He left the show in 2008. He was also a part of the third season of New
Zealand drama series Outrageous Fortune. Jeffery played the role of Frank in
the TV series Underbelly: Badness as Frank. Filming was completed on the 22nd
of June. Three days later, Jeffery was confirmed as Bradley Fox's replacement
for Neighbours for a period of two months. In October, it was discovered that
Jeffery had been assigned as a corrections officer in the series Wentworth.
Bevan Lee's Between Two Worlds was also the role he played. In April 2021 it
was announced that Jeffery will be a part of Pieces of Her, a Netflix thriller
series that was adapted from the Karin Slaughter book. In 2004 and 2007,
Jeffery won the Silver Logie award for the Most Popular actor in a Drama Series
for his part in McLeod's Daughters.
